Revolutionizing exercise for the visually impaired.

Assistive technology that helps the visually impaired swim and run with real-time guidance.

About us See the product

Exercise has never been easy for the visually impaired.

People with visual impairments face many barriers when it comes to exercise. They often have to rely on sighted guides and other people for assistance, which can be inconvenient and limiting. Furthermore, they have to deal with the fear of getting lost or injured, and restriction to solely stationary exercises and machines can be extremely demotivating.

It is hard for them to experience a sense of freedom when swimming laps in a pool or running outside. This lack of autonomy leads to inactivity, which contributes to concerning health trends.

The Eyerobic Headband

Our assistive headband empowers the visually impaired to swim and run. Powered by computer vision algorithms and a unique haptic and audio feedback system through bone conduction, its one of a kind design is the next step in assistive technology.

With each step and stroke taken, our device determines the user's trajectory and instantly notifies them if they are drifting off the correct path, or if they are approaching potential hazards like a wall or pedestrians.

  • Connect with your phone. Easily connect your device with our mobile app to get started. Setup can be done in just a few minutes.
  • Secure data. Models run on device for speed, security, and offline use. No images from the camera are sent to the cloud.
  • Long battery life. Two hours of battery life allows for comfortable, controlled, and safe workouts.

"This product has the potential to be very rewarding for these visually impaired individuals by giving them a much less frustrating experience and encouraging them to stay active."

Frequently asked questions

What do you mean by "autonomous?"

With Eyerobic, visually impaired people will be able to swim and run completely independently and safely without any external support from guides or tappers.

What is so special about the product?

Our core innovation is the usage of bone conduction for real-time guidance.

By transmitting sound directly to the ears through the transducers, users can receive instant feedback on their actions.

Furthermore, because we use on-device models instead of sending requests to the cloud, response times are even faster.

How much does the headband cost?

The headband costs $159 for consumers. This is a very affordable price, especially compared to other options in the market.

How much battery life does the headband have?

The headband itself has two hours of battery life at maximum power.

We highly recommend only using the product after a full charge. We have safety features that alert users of low charge and also prevent activites from starting without sufficient charge.

We also offer a trade-in system as newer designs release.
