We were first inspired by the experience of coaching the first visually-impaired swimmer on our summer swim team. It challenged us to rethink not only how we teach swimming but also the tools we use to support every athlete.
Fast forward to the summer of 2024. While watching the Paralympics together, we came up with an idea: a way to use AI and technology to make swimming and running accessible for all.
Eyerobic is a dual-purpose assistive headband that helps visually impaired individuals swim and run independently and safely. Equipped with a camera, computer vision, and bone-conduction headphones, it provides real-time guidance on surroundings like pedestrians and pool walls. Let's empower exercise for everyone.
